As a registered charity we receive guidance from the Charities Commission on good practice, including advice on Policies and Procedures. In addition The Third Age Trust offers advice and although each u3a is autonomous there are clear benefits to us in having an approach which is consistent those of other u3a branches.
Olton and District u3a maintains a list of policies and procedures which set out how we conduct our business to ensure that members' interests are safeguarded at all times.
